As a result, the solution is underpinned by a set of services to assist organisations navigate their way through their reporting requirements, all of which can be used in part or entirely with the online solution.

Carbon Footprint Boundary Workshop

Our boundary workshop outlines the requirements of a greenhouse gas audit. This defines both the organisational and operational boundaries and will essentially ring fence the audit. The workshop can also be tailored as an education session to relevant stakeholders within the business in question.

The workshop defines potential sources of carbon emissions in business operations, and the data types and formats required to successfully complete a carbon audit.

The workshop is conducted either face to face or via teleconference and should include a representative who understands the business, a finance or operations resource who will take the lead in data gathering as well as a facilities or building management resource if one exists.

Data Collection Services

A significant part of any GHG emissions audit or carbon footprint quantification is data collection. Although our service offering provides guidance in this respect, data collection services can be provided if required.

Should a company not wish to use the online tool to develop their footprint, our services led offering will develop a similar report based on input and validation by one of our consultants.

Education and Awareness Sessions around business carbon emissions

All green initiatives need to start with education and awareness around the issues we face with respect to global warming.

To this effect, sustainableIT tailors training and awareness sessions which offer pragmatic insights to these challenges. These can be short sharp presentations or half day sessions with more detailed information around the specifics of the organisation in question.

Independent verification and review

If you have completed your own carbon footprint and want a subject matter expert to review and verify your data, we have consultants that are able to provide these services.  The process and extent of the review  varies from organisation to organisation but can include a review of your GHG management system, organisational boundaries, emissions data and resultant communications.  Contact us to learn more.
